Aggregate supplies are short, but the good news is that some of the best aggregates
are in our roads. We reclaim them to produce high-quality, cost effective Reclaimed
Aggregate Products. Our cutting-edge processing and stringent quality control ensure
consistency from batch to batch.
We are assured a continuing supply of raw materials from Pavement Recycling System's
own Cold Milling Group as well as outside sources.
Our Colton facility produces:
- RAP Chips (5/16" and 7/16")
- RAP Slurry Dust (Type I and II)
- Crushed Miscellaneous Base that can be sued on building projects instead of standard
aggregate base materials
- AC Base
- RAP Base
- Mixing Aggregates for CCPR
These products are available in the above form or, through our sister PRS company
Pavement Coatings, in ready-to-apply alternative pavement products.
Recycled asphalt aggregates are good aggregates that are already coated with a protective
asphalt binder, so they are a more cost-efficient source that requires less binder
when constructing a new road surface. Caltrans (California Department of Transportation)
has accepted the recycled aggregate as a quality building material.
Our Colton facility alone is capable of producing 2,000 tons of aggregate product
in an eight-hour shift, or 150,000 to 200,000 tons or recycled aggregate material
annually.
